Our Policies & Service Agreement
These policies are in place to ensure a happy and healthy experience for your pets. We want to make sure everyone is on the same page and we have clear communication.

We strive to offer and maintain exceptional and safe handling of your pet and property but there are no guarantees when it comes to animal care and K9 Club accepts no responsibility for damage to pets or property. Client agrees to hold harmless K9 Club and it's employees and affiliates from any liability.

K9 Club is Insured and Bonded
Communication

Our primary method of communication is through our Time to Pet Mobile App. With few exceptions all of our communication will be through this app. We are also available by call or text @ (979) 480-1655

We will ensure communication after each visit through the Time to Pet App with pictures (if applicable) and messages.
Scheduling and Cancelations
-
Appointments are on a first come, first serve basis.
-
Appointments should be made through the Time to Pet App, this will ensure that K9 Club has all the required information for the Service.

Appointments should be made by 5pm prior to the date of service.

Cancelations should be made through the Time to Pet App
-
Cancelations must be made by 7pm prior to the date of service, failure to do so may lead to a charge of the full service rate.

Being a Mother of two young boys there may be a time when we must cancel or reschedule a service. All efforts will be made to complete all scheduled services, if services are canceled you will be contacted and/or refunded for that service.

Additional Charges will be established at meet and greet if outside primary service area.

K9 Club will use discretion when determining if potential client is too far outside service area.
Services

Appointment Duration
-
Appointments begin when we enter your home and will end when we send you an update and lock your door.​

Time Blocks
-
All appointments are offered and scheduled in time blocks, rather than specific times. (such as Morning & Afternoon)

All efforts will be made by K9 Club to honor scheduled time blocks.

Meet & Greet​
-
An Initial Meet ​& Greet is preferred, at this meeting we will get to know you and your pet(s). This will take place in your home, and we will go over the services you may require. Keys/Access Code should be provided at this meeting.

In-Home Boarding Services​
-
Boarding will be at K9 Club.
-
Dog must be able to be kenneled.
-
Dog will be supervised at all times.
-
Dog must be evaluated for temperament, health and safety prior to date of service.
-
Water will be provided at all times.
-
Play time and free roaming will be in common areas and quite time will be provided as needed.
-
Dogs will sleep at night in kennel for safety.
-
Dogs must be house broken (use bathroom outside).

Pet Sitting​
-
Pets and home will be left as they were found.
-
Any care or medication instructions should be left for us through the Time to Pet App
-
Food and water will be provided for all pets under the K9 Club's care, as per instructions.

Cats: Litter box will be cleaned daily.
-
Critters: Care will be provided as per detailed instructions.​

Vacation Package
-
Never assume pet care will be administered until confirmation of appointment is made.
-
Please notify K9 Club when returning home, so we can make sure your pet is taken care of in case of delays.

Keys
-
If K9 Club will be using keys to access your property, we will need you to provide 2 keys (Key Pickup at Meet and Greet).

K9 Club will retain keys in a secured location.
-
In lieu of keys, client may provide an access code to enter property.
-
If security system is installed and active, client must provide a means for K9 Club to disable alarm during visit.

If for any reason keys or access code does not work and pet requires a visit a locksmith may be utilized and K9 Club will be reimbursed for all costs incurred. The client gives full permission to K9 Club to employ a locksmith on the clients behalf.
Emergencies
-
In an emergency, priority will be given to those with pet parents out of town.

An Emergency Contact will be provided to K9 Club, this person will be able to make decisions about the pets care if the Client cannot be contacted.

In the event of a pet emergency, every effort will be made to contact the client and emergency contact prior to veterinarian visit. K9 Club is authorized to utilize the Veterinarian listed by client or any other veterinarian to render services as needed. Client will reimburse K9 Club for all fees incurred in such event.

Client is encouraged to inform veterinarian that K9 Club is authorized to seek care for their animal, also that client keeps a credit card on file for associated charges.
Billing
-
Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice.
-
A late payment fee of $20.00 will be added to all invoices not paid within 2 calendar days of receipt of invoice.

Clients who book multiple services in one week will be invoiced weekly
-
Clients who book one service will be billed at time of booking.
-
Pet Taxi and Supply Run Services due prior to service completion.
-
Clients who fail to pay will not not receive further services until payment in full is obtained.

Invoices will be emailed to client. Payments can be paid directly through Time to Pet App/online client portal or cash.

We accept ACH Payments and most major credit cards, we also accept Cash but require exact change.
-
A late payment fee of $20.00 will be added to all invoices not paid on time.

A $20.00 handling charge will be assessed for declined ACH payment/credit card payments.
-
K9 Club never stores or handles your payment information(only the last 4 digits of the card number), a secure payment processer handles the payment directly.
Vaccinations and Flea Prevention

All Clients must complete a Veterinarian Release Form.
-
All animal vaccinations including DHPP/DAPP/DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza), Bordetella, VRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus & Panleukopenia) (for cats) & Rabies are required.

Proof of vaccinations must be provided prior to start of services and maintained throughout services rendered.

It is an expectation that our clients maintain a flea prevention regimen for their pet. For the safety of staff and other clients and their animals, if a flea problem arises, services will be cancelled until problem is under control.
Damage to Property, Injuries & Theft

K9 Club is only liable for claims arising from proven negligence or willful misconduct on our part.

K9 Club does not accept responsibility for uncontrollable mishaps ( such as bites or furniture damage) caused by client's pet.
-
K9 Club does not accept responsibility for any damage or loss of pet through theft or escape arising from pets left outdoors under direction of the client.
-
Being that animal behavior can be unpredictable, K9 Club does not accept responsibility or liability for animal behavior, normal or otherwise, which results in injury to the client's animals or any third party. Further, if a K9 Club provider is harmed or injured by the client’s pets, the client/owner accepts full responsibility for the cost of any necessary medical attention required by either the K9 Club provider or the animals.

​K9 Club will attempt to clean up after your pets, to the best of our ability, but will not be held liable for any stains or damage to clients property.
Privacy

K9 Club does not sell any client information.

K9 Club does not store or handle any critical payment information outside of the last 4 number of your payment card.

Nothing on the internet is 100% secure but we strive to keep secure all personal information and data.

K9 Club agrees to inform client in the event of a data breech and Client agrees to hold harmless K9 Club in the event of a data breach.
Photo Release
-
K9 Club uses several social media platforms, this website and the Time to Pet App and as such may use Client animal photos. We also may use client animal photos on promotional materials.
-
When taking photos we will make every effort to not include any identifiable information.
Termination of Service
-
K9 Club reserves the right to refuse service or terminate service at any time, for any reason.
Service Agreement
1. Client authorizes K9 Club to perform pet care services as outlined during the Meet and Greet and in accordance with K9 Club's posted Policies and Procedures which shall become part of this contract.

2. K9 Club is authorized to perform care and services as outlined in this contract. Should medical attention be necessary and the specified veterinarian is unavailable, K9 Club is authorized by signature below to seek emergency veterinary care. Client releases K9 Club from all liabilities related to transportation, treatment and expense. Every attempt will be made to notify Client regarding such a situation. However, if Client is not reachable and time is of the essence Client authorizes K9 Club to approve medical and /or emergency treatment (excluding euthanasia) as recommended by a veterinarian. Client agrees to reimburse K9 Club for any expense incurred.

3. K9 Club accepts no responsibility for security of the premises or loss of items therein.

4. Client agrees to reimburse K9 Club for any additional fees and expenses incurred for unexpected visits, transportation, housing, food, or supplies required to meet the needs of my animal(s).

5. K9 Club agrees to provide pet care services in a reliable, caring, and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against K9 Club, its employees or assigns, except those arising from proven negligence by K9 Club.

6. K9 Club will not be liable for the injury, disappearance, death, or fines of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors.

7. Client will be responsible for all medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to a representative of K9 Club or other persons by the pet. Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless K9 Club in the event of a claim by any person injured by the pet. Client shall, at Client’s sole expense, defend K9 Club and its respective employees against any claim or demand, whether or not well founded arising from any act(s) of Client’s pet(s) or relation to Client’s property. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless K9 Club as well as its respective employees, successors and assigns free and harmless from all cost, expenses, and liabilities in connection with such claims or demands. These costs, expenses and liabilities include amounts paid in settlement before or after suit is commenced, attorney’s fees and costs incurred by K9 Club in defending against such claims or demands.

8. It is expressly understood that K9 Club, shall not be held responsible for any damage to client’s property, or that of others, caused by client’s pets during the period in which they are in our care.

9. Client acknowledges that payment is due immediately upon receipt of an invoice from K9 Club. A $20.00 late fee will be applied to all invoices not paid within 2 calendar days after receipt of invoice with exception of Pet Taxi and Supply Run Services which will be due before completion of service. A handling fee of $20.00 will be charged on all returned checks or declined ACH/credit card transactions. In the event it is necessary to initiate collection proceedings on the account, Client will be responsible for all attorney’s fees, filing fees, and cost of collection.

10. Clients who book multiple services within one week will be billed at the end of each week. No charge for weekly dog walks canceled by 7pm the day before service. Visits canceled the same day may be charged the full service rate. Payment for Pet Sitting visit assignments are due on or before the first date of service. Cancelations will be billed for visits scheduled on the date of cancelation and any remaining balance will be credited toward future service.

11. In the event of personal emergency or serious illness of K9 Club, Client authorizes K9 Club to arrange for another qualified person to fulfill responsibilities as set forth on this contract. Every attempt will be made to notify the client and or the listed Emergency Contact regarding such a situation.

12. I attest to the fact that all licenses and vaccinations required by the City in which I reside are current according to the law.
13.K9 Club specifically reserves the right to reject or refuse to accept any pet, if, in K9 Club's sole discretion, the pet is deemed to be dangerous or unsafe. K9 Club's discretion in this regard extends to any requested services, if the services violate any law or regulation, or any of the Terms set forth herein, or are deemed to be dangerous to the pet, other pets, or any pet care provider or other individual. Client acknowledges and agrees that client will assume all liability in connection with certain specified services that client requests. K9 Club will advise client of the nature of these services should the need arise.
14. No relaxation, indulgence, waiver or release by any party of any of the rights in terms of this Service Agreement on occasion shall prevent the subsequent enforcement of such rights and shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach of any of the terms.

The terms of this Service Agreement shall be binding upon and accrue to the benefit and be enforceable by either party’s successors, legal representatives, and assigns. This Service Agreement shall be construed, interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and should any provision of this Service Agreement be judged by an appropriate court as invalid, it shall not affect any of the remaining provisions whatsoever.
